The Mall has a wide variety of shops to choose from. From food to gadgets, and others objects that can be used to gain profit or sold for money. These images that I captured are some of the shops that caught my attention, mainly my interest. As one can see, the images are about eyeglasses, pastries, and ice creams. Well, mostly is about food. The simplest reason I can give as to why I captured such images is that I like food, especially sweets and pastries, and I also like trinkets that might look good or "cool" when worn or just displayed. In relation to Semiotics, when it comes to name or reputation, one can already identify what a shop is selling. Like the Optical Eye Shop, judging from it's name and quality looking sunglasses, it can already be identified that the shop sells expensive eye wear. The Goldilocks, it's popularity is nationwide, everyone already knows how popular it's pastries are, even celebrities are advertising their products. So, when the word "Goldilocks" comes up from a conversation, thoughts about cakes and pastries will surface into the mind. Lastly, the Fried Ice Cream, judging from it's name, it sells ice cream. But what makes it different is the "Fried" part in it's name, which might indicate that it's an ice cream made differently than a usual, "swirled" form, ice cream.
